We hope to soon get back to what originally sparked the creation of THC> SOUNDS!
We began doing radio back in 1991 by brokering air time on WPBR, a talk radio station. During this time, Steven put together 100's of live shows and released several compilations with artists like: KEVIN BARNES (OF MONTREAL), THE HOLY TERRORS, POSTFACE, JACK OFF JILL, THE UNSEELIE COURT, THE DOOMED CLOWNS, LOAD, 'KREAMY LECTRIC SANTA and many more! Over the years and several stations later we wound up back at PBR in 1998 or 99. It's kinda fuzzy. We would tape our shows and post them up to the fledgling THC site every week in streaming real audio. It was a heck of alot of fun! At one point (before the big time) Chris Carrabba (DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL) had accepted our offer to stream a live solo performance from our apartment! We never pulled it together... OUR bad:(
